The mission of the St. Michael School’s Light The World Stewardship Program is to instill into student the value of making a positive difference in the lives of others by carrying out the mission Jesus gave us of helping those in need. The program will serve to increase awareness, encourage respect, and develop empathy for those individuals less fortunate than themselves. To ensure the success of the program, the stewardship projects will be primarily student-led with parent volunteers serving only to assist the students’ efforts. The program will provide consistent stewardship with specific ministries assigned, on an ongoing basis, to each grade. |
