Jolly Elf Trail Run Course Map - Click Here
The 5K Run main event traverses through the paved and gentle hilly trails of scenic Bond Park, in the heart of Cary. The course is mostly hard-packed wood chips and grass with some pavement between trails. Good footing exists throughout the entire course. Along the way, you'll enjoy the encouragement and cheers of elves, cheerleaders and their families. The One Mile Fun Run course is a beautiful, generally flat, jaunt through mostly open areas adjacent to the scenic woods of Bond Park. This Fun Run enjoys similar good footing consisting mostly of hard-packed wood chips, and grass with some pavement between trails. Walkers are welcome, too. The 200 Yard Kid's Dash is a blast on the grass...all the little ones enjoy this one --- with goodies to collect upon finishing.
The Jolly Elf Trail Run is the final 2012 race in the Second Empire Grand Prix Series. What a great way to end your year and pick up a few extra Grand Prix points. The Grand Prix has expanded this year and consists of eight of the best races in the Raleigh area. The Grand Prix Series offers Grand Prix points for competing runners in each race.
